Allentown, Monmouth County
Allentown is a small borough in western Monmouth County, surrounded by Upper Freehold Township and bordering Robbinsville in Mercer County. It was formed out of Upper Freehold in 1889 and covers well under a square mile. County Routes 524, 526, and 539 run through the center, with I-195 and the New Jersey Turnpike just outside town. Much of the housing is older, clustered along North and South Main Street around the historic mill.
About 17 acres along North and South Main Street and nearby streets form the Allentown Historic District, listed on the National Register in 1982 with 219 contributing buildings, including the Allentown Mill and the c. 1790 John Imlay House. Older homes here can carry original framing, plaster, and systems. We buy them without asking you to restore anything.
Allentown had about 735 housing units at the 2010 census, many of them historic. In a town this small, there aren't many comparable sales, and a house that needs updating can sit while retail buyers look for move-in-ready homes. We make cash offers on older Allentown houses in their current condition.
Allentown is about an hour from Manhattan via the Turnpike and roughly 50 minutes from Philadelphia, with I-195 close by. That location draws commuters, but financed buyers still need a house that passes inspection and appraisal. We buy with cash, so bank appraisal and repair conditions don't hold up the sale.

Questions from Allentown sellers
Yes. We buy older homes in and around the historic district as they are, without asking for repairs or updates first.
Yes. We buy inherited homes for cash, work with the estate's attorney or executor, and you can leave behind any contents you don't want.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
Yes. We're a New Jersey company based in Toms River, and we buy in all 21 counties, including Monmouth County. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating, listed under our affiliate Gembrook Properties.
