Netcong, Morris County
Netcong is a small borough on the shore of Lake Musconetcong in western Morris County, bordered by Mount Olive, Roxbury, and Stanhope in Sussex County. Routes 46, 183, and 206 meet here near Interstate 80, which is why highway signs use Netcong as a control city. NJ Transit's Netcong station has weekday trains. About 3,400 people live in its roughly 1,500 homes, packed closely together.
Netcong grew where the Morris and Sussex Turnpike and the Morris Canal crossed, and the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad was a major employer. The borough split from Mount Olive and Roxbury in 1894. Many homes here have decades of updates behind them, and we buy them in their current state.
Lake Musconetcong is a 329-acre lake that began as the Stanhope Reservoir for the Morris Canal and is now part of Hopatcong State Park. It is shallow, about 5 feet on average. Homes near the water can raise inspection and insurance questions. We buy houses near the lake as-is.
With about 4,000 people per square mile in 2020, Netcong is far more compact than Mount Olive or Roxbury next door, with roughly 1,500 homes close together. Buyers using financing often ask for repairs or credits on older houses. We pay cash for Netcong homes as they are and skip that step.

Yes. We buy as-is for cash, so you don't need to make repairs, clean out, or wait for a buyer's financing.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
