Palmyra, Burlington County
Palmyra is a borough on the Delaware River across from Philadelphia, bordered by Cinnaminson, Riverton, and Pennsauken in Camden County. Route 73 crosses the river here on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, completed in 1929, and NJ Transit's River Line stops on East Broad Street. The borough grew up along the railroad that arrived in 1834, when workers built homes on lots beside the tracks, and its oldest house is a farmhouse from 1761. About 7,400 people live here in roughly 3,500 housing units.
After the railroad came through in 1834, houses went up on lots along the right of way, and the borough was later set off from Cinnaminson in 1894. Houses with that much age on them often need wiring, plumbing, and heating updates that come up in an inspection. We buy Palmyra homes without asking you to make those repairs.
A 250-acre nature park opened along the Delaware in 1999 and serves as a bird sanctuary. Properties near the river can draw flood-zone questions from lenders, which can delay or end a financed sale. We pay cash, so a lender's flood-insurance requirement is not part of our purchase.
Palmyra has its own bridge into Philadelphia and a River Line station with trains to Camden and Trenton. If your Palmyra house is a rental with tenants in place, you do not have to wait for a lease to end or a unit to empty out. We can buy it occupied.

In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
