Roselle, Union County
Roselle is a 2.65-square-mile borough between Roselle Park, Linden, Cranford, and Elizabeth, with Warinanco Park along its edge with Elizabeth. It formed from part of Linden in 1894, and its name comes from the Roselle Land Improvement Company, organized in 1866 around Mulford Station on the Central Railroad of New Jersey. Route 27 forms its southeastern border with Linden, Morses Creek runs through town, and Aldene is a locality partly within the borough. Roselle had about 8,400 housing units in 2020.
In 1883 Thomas Edison built what's described as the world's first electric lighting system with overhead wires in Roselle, and First Presbyterian Church became the first U.S. church lit by electricity. Houses from the borough's early decades can still have outdated wiring and other original systems. We buy older Roselle homes without asking you to update them.
Morses Creek runs through Roselle, and the 205-acre Warinanco Park, created in 1920, straddles the Elizabeth line. Homes near the creek can face flood-zone questions that hold up a financed sale. We check the property's status ourselves and buy for cash, so a buyer's lender or insurer doesn't decide the outcome.
Roselle has no NJ Transit rail station; its old Central Railroad station sits on an abandoned line. Freight runs on the Lehigh Line, and buses 112 and 115 go to the Port Authority. Wherever your house sits, near tracks or a busy road, we make a cash offer on it as it is.

Questions from Roselle sellers
Yes. We buy as-is, so outdated electrical, plumbing, or heating doesn't need to be fixed before you sell.
Yes. We review the flood-zone status and pay cash, so no buyer's flood insurance or mortgage approval is needed.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
