Sea Bright, Monmouth County
Sea Bright is a borough of about 1,450 people on a barrier peninsula between the Atlantic and the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers, with Monmouth Beach to the south, Rumson and Middletown across the river, and Highlands to the north over a new bridge completed in 2025. It began as a fishing settlement called Nauvoo, got its first hotel in 1842, and became a borough in 1889. Route 36 is its only main road, and a massive seawall runs along the ocean side. The 2010 census counted about 1,200 housing units.
A 450-foot gap in the seawall at downtown Sea Bright, which never had a wall, was blamed for severe flooding there during Sandy. FEMA and the state later funded roughly $35 million in seawall work, including about 3,200 feet of new wall. Homes in town still face strict flood rules and high insurance costs. We buy them as-is for cash.
Sea Bright sits on a narrow strip of land with the ocean on one side and the river on the other, and about 44 percent of the borough's area is water. Nearly every home has storm exposure, and older houses may need elevation or major repairs. We buy unelevated and storm-damaged homes without lender or appraisal delays.
Sea Bright's beaches have been rebuilt with offshore sand since the 1962 Ash Wednesday Storm. Sandy washed away about 5 million cubic yards, and the Army Corps replaced more than 8 million in 2014. Ongoing storm cycles keep insurance and repair costs on owners' minds. We give you a fixed cash price and a closing date you choose.

Questions from Sea Bright sellers
Yes. We buy homes with unfinished storm work, open permits, or elevation not yet done, and we pay cash as-is.
We look at each property individually, including condos with association rules, and make cash offers where the numbers work.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
