Woolwich, Gloucester County
Woolwich Township surrounds the borough of Swedesboro in Gloucester County, bordered by East Greenwich, Harrison, Logan, and South Harrison townships and by Oldmans and Pilesgrove in Salem County. Formed by royal charter in 1767, it later gave up land to create Franklin, Harrison, Logan, and Swedesboro. Its population stayed below 1,200 from 1930 into the 1980s, then climbed from about 3,000 in 2000 to about 12,600 in 2020. U.S. Route 322 crosses the center and meets the New Jersey Turnpike at Exit 2. Communities include Asbury, Lippencott, Rulons, and Scull.
Weatherby, a planned development approved in the late 1990s, was laid out for about 4,500 units, including apartments, townhouses, single-family homes, and age-restricted housing. Many Woolwich homes are in associations with their own resale rules. We buy homes in Weatherby and other subdivisions and handle the association paperwork.
In 2009 Woolwich became the first community to adopt a transfer of development rights plan, aiming to preserve more than 4,000 acres of farmland and open space in exchange for just over 700 acres of development. Preserved farms carry deed restrictions that buyers need to understand. We buy rural Woolwich homes as-is.
Route 322 meets the New Jersey Turnpike at Exit 2, and plans near the exit call for close to 1.5 million square feet of retail plus office and flex space. Homes near the growing corridor can see construction traffic and change. Whatever the future holds, we buy Woolwich houses now, for cash.

Questions from Woolwich sellers
Yes. We buy all home types in Weatherby and across Woolwich Township, and we work with the association on resale documents.
Swedesboro is a separate borough completely surrounded by Woolwich, so we confirm the municipality from tax records before making an offer.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
