Brick, Ocean County
Brick Township lies along Barnegat Bay and the Metedeconk River in northern Ocean County, bordered by Lakewood, Toms River, Point Pleasant, and Bay Head, with Wall, Howell, and Brielle across the Monmouth County line. Most of the township is on the mainland, with sections such as Herbertsville, Laurelton, Breton Woods, Cedar Bridge, Osbornville, and Shore Acres, while Brick Ocean Beaches sit separately on the barrier peninsula. Routes 70, 88, and 35 and Parkway Exits 89 to 91 serve the town.
The Garden State Parkway opened in 1954, and Brick grew from about 4,300 residents in 1950 to more than 53,000 by 1980, with neighborhoods such as Lake Riviera, Laurelton, and Baywood built during that boom. Many of those houses are now 45 to 70 years old with original systems. We buy them as they stand.
Hurricane Sandy devastated parts of Brick in October 2012, hitting barrier-island and other waterfront homes hardest; homes and the Shore Acres Yacht Club took major damage and some buildings were demolished. Waterfront houses can still carry open permits, elevation questions, or flood-insurance costs. We buy waterfront Brick homes for cash in their current condition.
Brick's mainland and its ocean beach sections on the Barnegat Peninsula are not connected by land, and the township also reaches north to Herbertsville near the Monmouth border. Buyers price a waterfront or beach house very differently from an inland split-level. We look at each property on its own terms and make a straightforward cash offer.

In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
