Dunellen, Middlesex County
Dunellen is a one-square-mile borough of about 7,600 people at the northern edge of Middlesex County, bordered by Piscataway, Middlesex Borough, Green Brook in Somerset County, and Plainfield in Union County. It grew up around a Central Railroad of New Jersey station that opened in 1867, and it still has a stop on NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Line. The borough split from Piscataway in 1887, and much of the town lies within walking distance of the station.
The Central Railroad owned the land around the Dunellen station and developed it for houses, and the borough's roughly 2,700 homes still fit inside just over one square mile. Long-held houses in town often need updated wiring, plumbing, or roofs before a financed buyer will close. We buy Dunellen homes in their present condition and do not ask you to fix anything first.
Remnants of Hurricane Ida flooded a Dunellen neighborhood in September 2021, and some homes were marked uninhabitable. Houses with a flood history can face insurance questions and repair demands from buyers and lenders. If your home took on water and still needs work, we can make a cash offer on it as it is.
Dunellen station on the Raritan Valley Line connects to Newark Penn, with some direct trains to New York Penn Station. That draws buyers, but many want move-in-ready houses with financing. If your house is not there yet, we offer a cash sale with no showings and no mortgage contingency.

Questions from Dunellen sellers
Yes. We buy flood-damaged homes as-is and handle the repairs ourselves after closing.
We pay cash, so there is no lender timeline. We can usually close as quickly as the title work allows, or later if you need time to move.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
Yes. We're a New Jersey company based in Toms River, and we buy in all 21 counties, including Middlesex County. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating, listed under our affiliate Gembrook Properties.
