Manasquan, Monmouth County
Manasquan is a shore borough of about 5,900 people at the southern tip of Monmouth County, where the Manasquan Inlet meets the Atlantic across from Point Pleasant Beach. Brielle, Sea Girt, and Wall Township border it on land. It was carved from Wall Township in 1887 and began as a summer colony of bungalows and a boardwalk. Many of those bungalows have been replaced by larger single-family homes, and the borough now has about 3,400 housing units and a stop on NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line.
Sandy wiped out first floors of homes on First Avenue and near the beach in 2012, and the borough lost an estimated $79 million in taxable value. Some homes have since been elevated, and a federal beach replenishment project followed. Houses that were never raised can face steep flood-insurance costs and lender requirements. We buy unelevated and storm-worn houses as they are.
Manasquan's population rises sharply in summer, and about 28 percent of its housing units were vacant at the 2020 census. Owners of second homes and summer rentals often sell from a distance. We can buy your Manasquan shore house without you making trips to manage repairs, showings, or clean-outs.
Manasquan started as a summer community of bungalows, and many have been torn down for larger year-round homes. The original cottages that remain are often small, older, and in need of updated wiring, plumbing, and heating. We buy original bungalows in any condition and handle the next step ourselves.

Questions from Manasquan sellers

Yes. We can work around existing summer bookings or tenants and set a closing date that fits your schedule.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
