Sea Girt, Monmouth County
Sea Girt is a small oceanfront borough of about 1,900 people covering roughly one square mile of land between Spring Lake and Manasquan, with Spring Lake Heights and Wall Township inland. It takes its name from the summer estate Commodore Robert F. Stockton built here after buying land in 1853, between Stockton Lake and Wreck Pond. The borough incorporated in 1917. Landmarks include the 1896 Sea Girt Lighthouse and a former New Jersey National Guard training base still used by the Guard. Train riders use the nearby Manasquan station.
Wreck Pond, a tidal pond shared with Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall, drains a watershed of about 12 square miles, and heavy storm flows from it often close Sea Girt's ocean beaches. A gated culvert was expanded in 2016. Homes near the pond and Stockton Lake can raise flood-zone questions for financed buyers. We pay cash.
Sea Girt had about 1,300 housing units at the 2010 census, so only a handful of homes come up for sale at a time. With few comparable sales, an older house that needs work can be hard to price on the open market. We make a direct cash offer on Sea Girt homes in any condition and close when you are ready.
The National Guard still trains at its former base in Sea Girt, which also houses the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey. If you are relocating or settling an estate and need a clean sale, we can buy the house with its contents and close without repairs, showings, or inspections.

Questions from Sea Girt sellers
Homes near Wreck Pond or Stockton Lake may fall in flood hazard areas, which can complicate a buyer's mortgage. We buy for cash, so lender flood requirements do not slow us down.
Yes. We buy as-is and factor the needed updates into our cash offer, so you do not have to renovate first.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
Yes. We're a New Jersey company based in Toms River, and we buy in all 21 counties, including Monmouth County. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating, listed under our affiliate Gembrook Properties.
