Eagleswood, Ocean County
Eagleswood is a small township of about 1,700 people on the mainland side of Little Egg Harbor in southern Ocean County, bordered by Stafford, Little Egg Harbor Township, and Long Beach Township. Its main village is West Creek, named for Westecunk Creek, with smaller places such as Staffordville, Stafford Forge, and Cox's Crossing. Route 9 is the main road; the Garden State Parkway passes through without an exit. Beach Haven and Long Beach Township were both carved from Eagleswood.
West Creek grew up along Westecunk Creek, and in 1836 Captain Hazelton Seaman built the first sneakbox, a small bay-hunting boat, there. Older houses in and around the village can come with aging systems and deferred maintenance that retail buyers struggle to finance. We buy West Creek homes as they stand, without repairs or cleanouts.
The NJ Pinelands Commission lists Eagleswood as a township lying partly in the state-designated Pinelands Area and partly in the Pinelands National Reserve. Depending on where a lot sits, additions, subdivisions, or new building can require extra review. Some buyers walk away when plans need approvals. We buy the property in its current form and handle that question ourselves.
With fewer than 2,000 residents on about 16 square miles of land, Eagleswood has a small housing market, which can make pricing and finding a buyer slower than in larger towns nearby. The nearest Parkway exits are in Little Egg Harbor and Stafford. We make cash offers on Eagleswood homes and set a closing date that works for you.

Questions from Eagleswood sellers
Yes. West Creek is the main village in Eagleswood Township, and we buy houses there for cash in their current condition.
No. We review the property's Pinelands status as part of our offer, but we buy as-is and you don't need to get any approvals first.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
