Teterboro, Bergen County
Teterboro is a borough of about 60 residents, and Teterboro Airport, operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, takes up most of its land. It borders Hackensack, Hasbrouck Heights, Little Ferry, Moonachie, and South Hackensack. Route 46 runs east-west north of the airport and a piece of Interstate 80 runs along its northern edge. Housing is very limited: the Vincent Place apartments and Huyler Street, the only other street zoned residential.
Teterboro Airport covers most of the borough and extends into Hasbrouck Heights and Moonachie. With only a few dozen housing units, home sales here are rare and comparable sales are hard to find, which complicates pricing and appraisals. We make a cash offer without depending on an appraisal.
Teterboro was incorporated in 1917, renamed Bendix Borough in 1937, and changed back to Teterboro in 1943. It is named for Walter C. Teter, who bought the land in 1917. Older documents can carry the Bendix name. We work through records like these with the title company.
Teterboro has long been a place of industry, with a 1966 report counting about 50 industries in the borough. Homes beside industrial and airport uses draw a small pool of retail buyers. We buy for cash and close on your schedule.

Questions from Teterboro sellers
With so few homes, there are few comparable sales and few buyers looking. We make a direct cash offer, so you don't have to wait for the right buyer.
Yes. We buy houses as-is for cash across Bergen County, including Hasbrouck Heights, Moonachie, and Little Ferry.
In New Jersey, an inherited house is sold through the estate, so the executor or court-appointed administrator signs the sale. We talk with each heir separately and privately, so no one has to negotiate as a group, and we'll walk you through getting an administrator appointed if that hasn't happened yet.
Thirty days is typical, and clean files can move faster. If you need more time, we'll write the date you want into the contract.
Yes. We're a New Jersey company based in Toms River, and we buy in all 21 counties, including Bergen County. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating, listed under our affiliate Gembrook Properties.
